Welcome to Digital Design Guru LLC. These Terms of Service outline the policies, expectations, and legal terms that apply to all services provided, including but not limited to visual design, graphic design, website development, website management, and printing.
By engaging in services with Digital Design Guru LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to the following terms.
1. 🔧 Scope of Services
We offer the following services to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and brands:
- Visual Design & Branding: Logo design, brand kits, social media templates, promotional graphics.
- Graphic Design: Custom layouts for flyers, postcards, brochures, and digital assets.
- Printing Services: Print production for business cards, flyers, postcards, and select merchandise.
- Website Design & Setup: Custom WordPress website development, domain setup, and hosting via 20i.
- Website Management: Monthly maintenance, content updates, plugin management, and performance monitoring.
Each project will be detailed in a separate project summary or proposal provided via email or Brevo.
2. 💵 Payment Terms
Deposits & Invoicing
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to begin all website and custom design projects.
- The remaining 75% is due upon final approval or before delivery of final assets.
- Print jobs must be paid in full upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Website management plans are billed monthly or annually and due in advance.
Accepted Methods
Payment can be made via:
- Credit/debit card (secure online invoice)
- PayPal or Stripe
- ACH or bank transfer (upon request)
Late payments may result in delays or suspension of services.
3. ⏳ Project Timeline & Revisions
- Projects begin once payment and required content (e.g. text, images, brand info) are submitted.
- Most design projects are completed within 7–14 business days. Websites typically require 2–3 weeks depending on scope.
- All design packages include two rounds of revisions. Additional changes will incur a fee.
4. 👤 Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
- Provide content (copy, branding, images) on time
- Respond to communication in a timely manner (48 hours preferred)
- Review proofs and deliverables promptly
- Maintain login credentials, domains, and web security (unless part of our management plan)
Failure to provide content or feedback may delay your project and/or result in project cancellation without refund.
5. 🧾 Printing & Production
All print orders are final once approved. Digital Design Guru LLC is not responsible for:
- Delays due to shipping carriers
- Color variations due to screen vs. print differences
- Typos or errors in approved files
We offer reprints at a discounted rate if an error is on our part.
6. 🌐 Website Hosting & Management
- Hosting is provided via 20i with performance monitoring, SSL, backups, and security tools.
- Website management includes monthly updates, uptime monitoring, backups, and minor content edits.
- Clients not on a management plan are responsible for maintaining their site and plugins.
If a client chooses to self-manage, Digital Design Guru LLC is not liable for site issues, breaches, or downtime after delivery.
7. 🚫 Cancellation & Refunds
- All deposits are non-refundable.
- If a client cancels after work has begun, additional hours spent will be invoiced.
- We reserve the right to cancel a project due to repeated non-communication, scope violations, or misconduct.
8. 📦 Ownership & Licensing
- Clients receive full ownership of final approved deliverables upon full payment.
- We reserve the right to display work in our portfolio unless otherwise requested in writing.
- All unused drafts, source files, and concepts remain the property of Digital Design Guru LLC.
9. ⚖️ Limitation of Liability
Digital Design Guru LLC is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, business, or data
- Technical issues arising from client misuse or third-party hosting
- Client content violations (e.g., copyright infringement)
Our liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the applicable project.
10. ✅ Acceptance of Terms
By paying a deposit, signing up through our forms, or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
